Todays featured layout comes from Gloria. I love the colors in this layout of her handsome lil nephew.

Happy Saturday everyone!!! The weekend is here! Beautiful layout Gloria!! Upload your photos to our gallery and you may be the next feature!!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!!

Challenge Time!!

I promised all the scrappers in our community on PaperPrimp.com that when we hit 50 we would have our first challenge and we sure got there fast!!! Here is our first challenge as promised...In honor of St. Patricks day, Shamrocks and monochromatic layouts...these are the rules.

1.Create a layout 1 or 2 page, 6x6 or 12x12...your choice.
2.Must be monochromatic
3.And have 3 of the same elements...3 anything!! Three pictures, three buttons, 3 brads, 3 flowers....etc!! The 3 things must all be identical. If you choose a picture it must be 3 of the same exact picture...if you choose brads...if must be 3 of the same size and color brad...and so on.

In case you were wondering what a monochromtic layout is. Its a layout with just one color but different hues of the color such as Blue (Dark Blue, light blue, sky blue) (Dark green, light green, forrest green, lime green) (Pink, light pink, dark pink, fushia)

*exceptions* say your layout is "green" but you want to use this green patterned paper that may have little pink flowers. As long as the patterned paper is more your main color than the other color...I will allow it.

Hope I haven't confused you all. If you have any questions just ask.
Deadline is March 31st.

P.S. You have to be a part of our community to win. So head over and join us...I promise you'll like it!! www.paperprimp.ning.com

Just got my KNK!!!

I just received my KNK in the mail yesterday. Stressed myself out last night trying to figure out how to use the software. Its not easy at all!! I had previously designed these photo corners in photoshop...anticipating the arrival of my machine. After playing with the Pen tool for awhile I took the plunge and made my first cut!!! Here it is....

Ebay meet Etsy and Vice Versa

The recent talk about all the changes in Ebay.com fees and feedback has caused ebay sellers to pack up and open shop at a new site, Etsy.com. I am personally new to Etsy.com but am defenitely interested in this new front.

I have created a community where Ebay sellers and buyers can network with Etsy sellers and buyers. Check out the link below and and join the community. You will meet some really talented artists and groups from both sites. I am personally impressed with Etsy.com they have a talented bunch of crafters over there whose style is very different than other crafters on ebay.

If your a seller make sure you give your buyers links to the community so they can see both your listings on Etsy and Ebay. Hope this community helps bring Ebay and Etsy together and helps smooth our transition over to the "New World"

TTYL Crafters!
